About Atwater Village
Atwater Village lies just east of Griffith Park and Los Feliz. It runs north to the Route 134/5 freeway junction and south to the 5 freeway/Route 2 junction. Atwater Village is named for its proximity to the Los Angeles River flood plain, and while the LA River is not generally known for its natural beauty, this particular stretch of it is notably scenic.
