About Granada Hills
Granada Hills is the northernmost neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles, just edging out Sylmar, a district to the east, for the honor. It is bordered by the 405 and 5 freeways in the east and north and by Devonshire Blvd. in the south. Relative to the rest of the San Fernando Valley, Granada Hills is high-income and sparsely populated.

Where most areas of Los Angeles County either encompass or bump up against sections of the Santa Monica Mountains, Granada Hills lies among the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains, which are comparatively dry and brushy, though still charming and picturesque in their own right. Because the 118 freeway cuts straight through Granada Hills, it is usually the best way to access the 405 and 5, which are, in turn, the best ways to access the rest of the Valley and the LA Basin to the south.
