Inglewood is a populous city in southwest Los Angeles County. It lies north of Hawthorne and east of Westchester, and while it is technically in the South Bay
region, it feels a bit more like part of LA proper because of how far north it is and because of its proximity to LAX. Its housing is geared toward smallish, affordable, and densely organized single-family rental units.
Inglewood is the home of such landmarks as The Forum, where the Los Angeles Lakers used to play before the construction of the Staples Center, and Randy’s Donuts, an iconic establishment that is routinely featured in entertainment and pop culture. With the 405 and 105 freeways to the west and south, respectively, and Downtown LA
no more than a few miles to the northeast, it is not difficult to commute from Inglewood to anywhere you might need to go. Other major throughways include La Cienega and Crenshaw Blvds.
