About Azusa
Azusa is a northern city in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County. It borders Glendora in the east, Citrus and Vincent in the south, Irwindale and Duarte in the west, and the San Gabriel Mountains in the north. As is common for SGV cities that abut the mountains, Azusa exhibits striking natural beauty: it lies primarily on flat land, but tall, brushy cliffs rise up sharply at its borders, cradling the city and lending it a hidden-away sort of feel, not to mention gorgeous views.

The other side to this coin is that Azusa can be difficult to get into and out of; it is accessible via the 210 “Foothill” freeway and the 605, routes that eventually lead to destinations like Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles, but would-be commuters will note that in general, its centrality should not be considered a strong suit. Luckily, Azusa is on track to receive a Gold Line station when LA Metro expansion gets underway.
