About Larchmont
Larchmont (alternately Larchmont Village) is a district in west-central Los Angeles, California. It is bordered by the districts of Hancock Park on the west, Hollywood on the north, Koreatown on the east, and Country Club Park on the south.
Larchmont is an upper-middle-class residential district, developed from the 1920s onward as a subsidiary district to the commercial districts of Hollywood, Wilshire Center (now Koreatown), and the Miracle Mile. It is known for its quiet, tree-lined streets and abundance of classic Los Angeles architecture. Not as wealthy as neighboring Hancock Park, it offers much the same atmosphere as its more famous neighbor.
