About Beverlywood

Beverlywood is a very small (0.79 square mile) neighborhood in the Cheviot Hills/Pico-Robertson section of West Los Angeles. Residents enjoy a rural atmosphere, but have convenient access to many of the best goods and services in the entire city, as Beverlywood is surrounded by some very prominent centers of commerce: Century City (shopping, movies), Beverly Hills (fine food, fashion), and Culver City (bars and night life). West Hollywood and the Fairfax District are also reasonably accessible. For those inclined toward golf and tennis, Rancho Park and Hillcrest Country Club are just west of Beverlywood. These public spaces are equally well suited for dog walking or jogging. Centrality is a serious perk; one might reasonably expect to have an easier commute from Beverlywood to Downtown LA, Culver City, West Los Angeles, and many other areas of the city than residents of Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and other neighborhoods of the like—and at a generally more affordable price, to boot. Beverlywood is perfect for families as it is both relatively safe and relatively saturated with high-quality schools, both public and private. The neighborhood is fairly walkable/bikeable—particularly if one intends to visit the myriad small family business and delis in the Pico-Robertson area just to the north. Main arteries: Pico Blvd., Robertson Blvd., the 10 freeway, Venice Blvd.
