Welcome to your 1-bedroom/ studio apartment in sunny downtown Chula Vista, an extremely walkable neighborhood, just 15 min south of downtown San Diego!

The apartment consists of a living room area, bedroom nook with queen-sized bed, large closet, large bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor bistro patio set, access to other outdoor spaces, and many other amenities!
This unit is in the rear of a larger home. It has its own exterior entrance, and is its own apartment, intended for completely independent living. It is divided from the rest of the home by an interior door which locks on both sides duplex-style, and is sound-proofed very well. There are no shared spaces between the apartment and the main home, with the exception of that shared wall.
HOME AMENITITES:
- Fully stocked kitchenette, including a giant fridge, brand new ceramic cooktop, very large microwave, blender, grill, and a variety of other appliances. Cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, etc. are provided.
- In place of a stove/oven, there is a brand-new, easy-to-clean, portable ceramic cooktop, which does the trick nicely! There's a large stainless steel double-basin kitchen/bathroom sink, as pictured. This kitchenette setup, though unusual, is very comfortable and has worked nicely for tenants in the past - the common reaction is that "It works!" While it is probably more ideal for occasional/ light cooking, even more frequent cook-ers have been very happy here. (You can also request access to the full kitchen in the main home on rare special occasions).
- There's a separate bedroom nook, complete with queen-sized bed, workspace, and quasi-walk-in closet.
- The bathroom is large and comfortable, with a full-sized shower.
OUTDOOR SPACES AND OTHER FEATURES:
- Outdoor amenities include a gated driveway, wrap-around fenced yard, a dedicated small patio with bistro set for your exclusive use, and a communal patio with double lounger, umbrella table, and barbecue grill for entertaining.
- There is a washer/dryer onsite as shown, shared by all tenants.
- Super-fast fiber WiFi from AT&T is included along with other bills (electric, sewage, trash, etc.)
NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES:
This part of Chula Vista is super-close to downtown San Diego. In addition to being close to many hospitals and other places of work, you will also be a:
~15-minute drive from downtown San Diego and the exciting Gaslamp district!
~15 minute drive from Coronado island, one of San Diego's most famous and beautiful beach spots, and 20 minutes from Imperial Beach.
~15 minute drive from trendy neighborhoods such as North Park, Hillcrest, University Heights, and other central San Diego hotspots.
Additionally, the neighborhood of the home (downtown Chula Vista) is walkable and convenient. Within a 5-10-minute walk you'll find a library, park, rec center, community lap pool, and several gyms, including a free outdoor gym right next to the house! Right down the street are countless restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a "hopping" brewery scene (pun intended! ;-)) There is very active nightlife right down the street, and yet the house is super-quiet and feels incredibly safe. Neighbors are also great.

LOGISTICAL DETAILS:
- Move-in available asap.
- The lease is technically month-to-month, but looking for an initial expressed, informal intention of at least 3-6 months, which can be extended if there is a longer-term fit.
- Pets: Prefer no pets, with the possible exception of very quiet, low-energy indoor dogs, or outdoor or non-scratching indoor cats. If you have a very chill, relaxed animal, this might work. However, If you have a normal, vivacious pup or kitten, as much as it pains me because I love animals, it's probably not a fit. Let's discuss via phone.
- Smoking: No smoking of any substance on property.
- Cost: Price for this unit is $1800/month all bills paid.
