Corona is a populous city in the west of Riverside County. It lies east of Orange County and south of San Bernardino County, just at the convergence of the 91 and 15 freeways. One of Corona's most immediately noticeable features is its proximity to the Santa Ana Mountains, which lends an eminently pleasing vista. The Corona area came to prominence in the late 1800's when Southern California was an epicenter of citrus fruit production and it remained a primarily agricultural community for much of its history. It is now commonly considered a bedroom community for parts of Orange and Los Angeles Counties—meaning that many residents choose to live in the relatively secluded and relatively scenic Corona locale and brave the (let's be honest) nasty commute.
