Short-Term Lease Condos in Mission Valley

Mission Valley is an area of the City of San Diego following the San Diego River west from Grantville toward Mission Bay. The very first Spanish settlement in California was established there in the late 1700's, so today the neighborhood is awash in history, old buildings, etc. Technically, Mission Valley is divided into two distinct neighborhoods: Mission Valley East and Mission Valley West. Together, they are best understood as a hub for commerce and entertainment within San Diego; there are three prominent shopping centers there (including Fashion Valley), Qualcomm Stadium (where the Chargers play) is there, and it has lots of hotels and motels. Mission Valley has many more apartments and condominiums than houses. Prospective residents interested in vehicle-free city living will note that Mission Valley is reasonably bike-able, walk-able, and trolley-able; getting around in a car is still probably easier—the area touches the 8, 15, 163, and 805 freeways—but options are nice.
