Charming 2-bedroom townhome in Corona Del Mar. The bright interior features 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed and trundle, 2.5 bathrooms (with jetted bathtub), 2 fireplaces, juliette balcony, large mid-level patio, and a top floor deck with peekaboo views of... the ocean and sprawling views.
Located 3 blocks north of PCH, CDM Village is a 5 min walk away. Explore shops and restaurants in the Village and walk another 10 mins to lively CDM State Beach, with family activities, easy parking, AND fire pits.
The space
Our house in Corona Del Mar (CDM) is located on a quiet block close to the Village of CDM. It is a back unit, but is located off of the street so there is no alley entrance and feels more open than other back units. There are 3 floors: on the ground floor, there is a carport that can be accessed from the alley and can accommodate 2 cars. Street parking is plentiful and free.
The entrance is on the ground floor, but then proceeds up to the 2nd floor where the main dining and living area and Bedroom 1/Bathroom 1 are located, along with the kitchen, Bathroom 3 (half bathroom), a juliette balcony off the dining area, and a spacious covered patio off the living room.
Bedroom 2 and Bathroom 2 are located on the top floor, along with a top deck patio with peaceful views of the neighborhood and peekaboo views of the ocean.
Cleaning service during your stay is available upon request for an additional fee. All stays of 90 days or more include a bi-monthly cleaning at no additional cost.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and carport, including both decks.
Other things to note
CDM Village is a very lively area and extremely walkable. There are restaurants, grocery stores, shops, hardware stores, and movie theaters all within walking distance. Apparently you can even walk to Fashion Island in 25 minutes if you so choose (or drive 5 minutes!). The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away depending on how fast you go and what you are carrying.
CDM State Beach is a very popular beach during the summer due to the extremely easy parking - spacious and right off the beach - as well as the fire pits that people claim in the early hours of the morning. The Jetty is a fast casual beach shack located right on the beach that serves good food at good prices.. again, right on the beach! There is no better beach in all of OC, probably in all of Southern California. Unbelievably, the parking lot fills up fast during the summer, which makes it convenient to be able to walk to the beach. I usually drop off the family, then park at the house, and then walk down to avoid the headache of dealing with the traffic.
