About Covina
Covina is a smallish, ethnically diverse city in the eastern San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County. It borders more than a half-dozen other SGV cities and neighborhoods, most prominently West Covina, Charter Oak, Vincent, Ramona, and Azusa. Covina was once one of the largest hubs for commercial orange production in the world, but is now much more residential than agricultural. Housing there is slightly tilted in favor of owner-occupied over rental to the tune of 60%-40%.

Residents describe Covina as a diverse and community-oriented little town with blue-collar roots. The city's main center of activity is probably its gigantic AMC 30 cinema complex, which is one of the busiest theaters in the entire country.
