About Highland Park
Highland Park is located to the northeast of Downtown Los Angeles. It runs along the 110 freeway toward Pasadena. The neighborhood is over one hundred years old and has changed erratically over that span; at various times, it has been an enclave of artists, intellectuals, Mexican Americans, and hipsters.
