About North Hollywood
North Hollywood is a populous, urban neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. It runs along the 170 freeway from Sherman Way in the north to its southern terminus at the 101 freeway/134 freeway junction; it ranges as far east as Clybourn Ave., where it borders Burbank. On a list of Los Angeles neighborhoods that are up and coming, North Hollywood would be close to the top.

There has always been ample residential space in the area, but now that LA has embarked on a set of Metro Line expansions across the city, the North Hollywood Station has become an important hub for the entire county, and local commerce has picked up a great deal in light of this: the NoHo Arts District—where both the Metro Red Line and Orange bus line converge—is currently undergoing massive development projects that include shops, commons, condos, and more. Local throughways include Lankershim, Vineland, Vanowen, Victory, and Burbank.
