About Ventura
The City of San Buenaventura, more commonly known as Ventura, is the namesake and administrative center of Ventura County. It lies in the western, coastal territory of the county, approximately 50 miles from the center of the San Fernando Valley and approximately 65 miles from Downtown Los Angeles. It has a fairly large population of 100,000-plus residents.
