Find Your Next House For Rent in Watts
The southern Los Angeles neighborhood of Watts is a densely packed, diverse suburb with a flair for the arts. The community’s calling card is the collection of towers known as the Watt’s Towers, or Towers of Simon Rodia, depending on who you ask. These structural sculptures were named a National Historic Landmark in 1990, and have inadvertently made Watts an unsung center for arts and culture. Dance companies and theaters also call Watts home, like the Watts Village Theater Company, providing educational workshops year round. Eight parks are scattered around the neighborhood, providing recreational space for residents. The Watts Senior Citizens Center even sets up bingo nights and other activities to get seniors in the area involved. The 105 and 110 freeways border Watts to the south and west, respectively, putting Downtown LA just a quick drive away.
