There are several requirements that I will need to see in order to evaluate your current financial standing. They are as follows,
1) Fill out the application fully.
2) Will need to agree to a background and credit check by Transunion. The fee will be paid directly to Transunion on their website. The fee is $48.
3) A copy of the last two months bank statements.
4) You would need to show proof of rental insurance. If you don't have any you will need to purchase it before the lease is given.
5) Last two pay stubs or pay statements. If you work freelance provide the most current paystubs you have.
6) Phone numbers to current and even former landlords if possible.
7) A list of all your debt obligations and the amount you owe as well how much you pay monthly to debt obligations.

I will take all this information into consideration so that I can see what your financial picture looks like and decide based on your overall financial status.
I know that the list of requirements may be extensive but this is the only way I can really determine the best tenant for the property moving forward.
