About Palms
Palms is a neighborhood in West Los Angeles that has a relatively high population density. Its boundaries are Venice Blvd. in the south, the 405 freeway to the west, and the 10 freeway in the north (save for a few blocks just north east of National Blvd.). Palms has both strong centrality and accessibility. For either business or pleasure, residents can jump on the 10 or 405 and speed off in any direction with ease—traffic permitting, of course.

Palms recently received a new Metro stop, which has spurred development in the Motor/National area; as would-be expo commuters continue to amass there, the quality of businesses and residences figures to improve consistently. Save for a few spots, Palms itself lacks for bars and nightlife, but it is within walking distance of some establishments on Venice Blvd. Westwood and Culver City are also nearby.

Because of the Metro line and the buses along Venice Blvd., Palms is a neighborhood in which one might reasonably succeed at living car-less in LA. It is furnished almost exclusively with smallish apartment buildings. Primary arteries: Venice Blvd., the 405 freeway, Sepulveda Blvd., the 10 freeway.
