About Orange
As the titular city of Orange County, California, Orange should probably sit right in the heart of the region, right? It does—though, slightly to the north. It borders Anaheim in the north and west, Santa Ana and North Tustin in the south, and various unincorporated territories in the east. It also surrounds the city of Villa Park completely. Nearly all of Orange's land is developed, and nearly all of it with residences.

Most of these are relatively upscale single-family homes, though it is a common misconception that Orange itself typifies the public's somewhat cliché understanding of the OC in general: high-end estates with labyrinthine floor plans, custom pools, and private tennis courts are more commonplace in Orange's tiny interior neighbor, Villa Park, though Orange is obviously blanketed in homes and rental units about which folks from most other parts of Southern California would gush. In fact, Orange is one of very few cities in the OC to have preserved many of its pre-1920 historic houses. Primary arteries: the 55, 216, 241, and 91 freeways.
