About Eastlake
Eastlake is a subdivision of the city of Chula Vista in San Diego County. It surrounds the 125 freeway-Proctor Valley Road junction and ultimately covers very little territory. “Eastlake” the community is named for and designed around Eastlake the lake. Prospective residents will notice that Eastlake's layout and residential/commercial/public zoning balance are really quite squared away; this is because they were thoroughly pre-planned, forged in the mold of Orange County developments. Eastlake residents enjoy scenic, well-maintained public spaces, a relatively high greenery quotient, and various safe/clean/healthy vibes.

The area is not very easily accessible via public transportation—really, it's designed for residents who have access to vehicles—and while walking and biking are eminently enjoyable as leisure activities in such a picturesque locale, they are less-than-ideal options for primary transportation. Eastlake is a fairly expensive place to live, but if you are in the hunt for a nice place to raise a family, you can't do much better.
